What should you verify on an open-box Mac Studio M3 Ultra?
Open box usually means someone has opened the packaging, so the details matter more than usual. At this price, read the seller's notes closely and ask questions before you buy.
- Model match: confirm A3389 and the 28C CPU / 60C GPU configuration in the photos or a system screenshot.
- Contents: check that the power cable and original box are included.
- Storage plan: large video projects fill 1TB quickly, so budget for external drives if you need them.
- Activation: ask whether the unit has been signed out of any previous Apple ID.
