About this item
The BenQ XL2730 27-inch 144Hz gaming monitor balances sharpness and speed for competitive shooters and esports fans. It has QHD 1440p resolution, a 1ms response rating and FreeSync. This open-box unit is listed at $398.99.
Is a 27-inch 1440p 144Hz monitor worth it over 1080p?
At 27 inches, 1440p looks noticeably sharper than 1080p, and 144Hz makes fast motion smoother. To get the full benefit, you need a graphics card that can hit high frame rates at QHD.
- Ports: confirm which inputs it has and which cable comes in the box.
- Open-box condition: ask about dead pixels, panel scratches and damage to the stand.
- FreeSync: it works best with a compatible GPU, so check yours.
- Beyond gaming: the extra screen space helps with coding and multitasking too.
