About this item
For serious gaming, the ASUS ROG Strix G15CF gaming PC (G15CF-WB786) pairs an Intel i7-12700F with an RTX 3080. It also has 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. An independent eBay seller lists it open box at $1,200.
Is an open-box ASUS ROG Strix G15CF with RTX 3080 worth it?
The RTX 3080 still handles demanding games and GPU-accelerated editing well. Whether it's a good deal depends on condition, so go through the photos and description closely.
- No integrated graphics: the F in i7-12700F means the PC relies on the RTX 3080 for all display output.
- Operating system: the title doesn't mention one, so confirm Windows is installed and activated.
- Packing: parts in a large tower can shift in transit, so ask the seller how it will be packed.
- Memory: 16GB is fine for gaming, but streamers may want to add more later.
