About this item
Lines across the screen, a washed-out image, or a backlight with no picture can point to a faulty timing controller. This Smart Board MX V5 T-Con board, also listed for the MX V5 Pro, is offered open box for $52.45. It's a low-cost part to try before you write off an interactive display.
How do you know if a Smart Board needs a new T-Con board?
These symptoms can overlap with a panel or main board failure, so it's worth getting a technician's diagnosis first.
- Match the label: compare the part number on your current T-Con board with the listing photos.
- Ribbon cables: confirm whether any cables are included or must be reused.
- Handling: inspect the photos for bent pins or damaged connectors.
- Related parts: if your main board is also suspect, sort out both repairs before ordering.
