About this item
Executives, consultants and writers on the move often shortlist the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13, and this open-box example comes with an Ultra 7 258V, 32GB of RAM and a generous 2TB of storage for $1,899.99.
Is an open-box X1 Carbon Gen 13 a smart buy?
The 32GB and 2TB configuration covers large spreadsheets, dozens of browser tabs and years of files, which matters on a thin laptop where later upgrades may not be possible. Open box can save money if the unit is complete.
- Accessories: confirm the charger and original packaging are included.
- Battery: ask for the cycle count, since a business laptop lives on battery.
- Activation: make sure the device isn't locked to a previous user or company account.
- Display: screen size and resolution aren't in the title, so check the description.
