About this item
A CR2032 CMOS battery with a 2 pin lead is the small coin cell that keeps a notebook's BIOS clock and settings saved when the main battery is unplugged. This listing is for a new 3V cell sold as fitting Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba and IBM notebooks.
Will this 2 pin CMOS battery fit my laptop?
The brand list is only part of the answer. Open your laptop and compare the plug on the old cell with the listing photos, because connector shape and wire length vary by model.
- Common signs of a dead cell: the clock resets, or you get BIOS date and time warnings at every boot.
- Check the plug: match the 2 pin connector to your board before buying.
- Low cost: at $3.22 it makes an easy spare for a repair bench or IT desk.
- Protection: your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
