About this item

Want a large, wraparound screen without spending much? According to the title, the MSI Optix G32C4W 31.5-inch curved gaming monitor has a curved FHD panel, a 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms response and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. It's listed as Certified - Refurbished at $129.99, which makes it a budget pick for casual gaming, streaming and a roomy work desktop.

Is FHD sharp enough on a 31.5-inch curved gaming monitor?

At this size the FHD pixels are spread across a wide area, so text looks softer up close. Sitting farther back helps, and fast games feel smooth at 165Hz.

• Read what the refurbished listing says about cosmetic wear and testing.
• Check which cables and stand parts come in the box.
• Measure your desk depth, since a 31.5-inch curve needs room.
• Confirm your PC can output 165Hz over the included connection.
