About this item
The Qwertykeys Neo75 prebuilt mechanical keyboard skips the soldering and assembly that many enthusiast boards require. This open box unit has an anodized taupe grey finish and is listed at $130 by an independent eBay seller. It's a good fit for writers, coders and anyone curious about the custom keyboard hobby.
What should I check on an open box prebuilt Neo75?
A prebuilt board ships assembled, so your main questions are cosmetic condition and which parts come with it.
- Finish: anodized surfaces can show scratches, so zoom in on corners and edges.
- Switches and keycaps: the title doesn't say which are installed, so check the description.
- Cables and tools: confirm whether a cable or keycap puller is included.
- Connectivity: the title doesn't specify wired or wireless, so read the description.
