About this item
Split your day between spreadsheets and a few rounds of gaming? The Dell 27 Plus monitor (S2725HSM) is a 27-inch FHD display at 1920x1080 with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, listed open box for $150. That mix makes it a practical home office or dorm screen.
Is 1080p sharp enough on a 27-inch monitor?
Text looks softer than on a 1440p screen of the same size, especially up close. On the plus side, 1080p is easy to run at high frame rates, even on modest graphics cards or laptops.
- Open box: check the photos for scratches and confirm the stand and power cable are included.
- Ports: make sure the inputs match your PC, laptop or console.
- Speakers: the title doesn't mention them, so check the specs if you need audio.
- Viewing distance: a 27-inch 1080p screen looks best from a bit farther back, so a deeper desk helps.
