About this item
On a tight budget? This open-box Acer Aspire 5 Slim laptop has a 15.6" FHD IPS display, an Intel i3-1115G4 and a 128GB NVMe drive for $239.99. With 4GB of RAM, it's built for the basics, not heavy multitasking.
Is 4GB of RAM enough on the Acer Aspire 5 Slim?
It's enough for email, web browsing, documents and streaming if you keep the number of open tabs down. Power users should look for more memory or ask whether the RAM can be upgraded.
- Best for: kids' homework, a kitchen-table laptop or a backup machine.
- Storage: 128GB fills up quickly, so plan on cloud storage or a USB drive.
- Open box: confirm the charger is included and look for notes on battery condition.
- Software: the title doesn't name the operating system, so check it in the listing.
