About this item
An open box ThinkPad laptop for $250 sounds promising, but this listing's title is a single word. Treat it as a starting point, not a spec sheet. ThinkPads are popular with office workers, students and IT tinkerers, and the right model could be a smart budget buy.
Which ThinkPad is this, and what should you ask?
The title gives nothing beyond the name. Before you buy, get these answers from the description or the seller.
- Model and year: the exact model number tells you almost everything else.
- Processor, RAM and storage: ask about each one and whether the storage is an SSD.
- Battery and charger: confirm battery health and that a power adapter is included.
- Operating system and condition: check what's installed and look closely at the open box photos.
If it arrives not as described, you're covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
