About this item
The iBuyPower BB981 desktop pairs an Intel Core i5 9th Gen processor at 2.90GHz with 8GB of RAM and two drives: 1TB plus 240GB. A setup like that often means a fast drive for Windows and a larger one for files, but confirm which is which in the listing.
Is a 9th Gen i5 iBuyPower desktop still worth $817.88?
That depends on the graphics card, which the title doesn't name. With a capable GPU this could be a solid gaming tower. Without one, newer budget desktops may offer more for the money.
- GPU: find the exact card model before comparing prices.
- Memory: 8GB is tight for modern games, so check for open slots to upgrade.
- Operating system: confirm what's installed and that it's activated.
- Power supply: note its wattage if you plan upgrades.
