About this item
At $239.99 open box, this Acer Aspire 5 Slim laptop is firmly entry-level: a 15.6" FHD IPS machine with an Intel i3-1115G4, 4GB RAM and a 128GB NVMe drive. It works best as a basic laptop for browsing and email, whether for a kid, a grandparent or as a spare at the office.
Is 4GB RAM enough on the Acer Aspire 5 Slim laptop?
It can handle documents, video streaming and one or two browser tabs. Heavy multitasking will feel slow, so check whether the listing says the memory can be upgraded.
- The 128GB NVMe drive is quick but small, so store files in the cloud.
- The title doesn't name the operating system. Confirm it in the listing.
- Look for the charger in the photos.
- Read the open-box notes for any cosmetic wear.
It's a simple, low-cost option for tight budgets, and the eBay Money Back Guarantee applies.
