About this item
Smooth frame rates are the draw of this Alienware 15 gaming laptop, which has a 15.3-inch WUXGA 165Hz display and a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 220 processor. It's listed as new for $899.
Is the Alienware 15 gaming laptop with Ryzen 5 220 good for gaming?
The 165Hz screen suits fast shooters and esports games. Real gaming performance depends mostly on the graphics card, though, and the title doesn't name it.
- Check the GPU model in the item specifics first.
- Confirm the RAM and storage sizes, which are also missing from the title.
- Look for the operating system and make sure a charger is in the box.
- WUXGA (1920 x 1200) is slightly taller than Full HD, which helps with streaming tools or coursework between matches.
