About this item
This HP 14-inch HD touchscreen laptop is about as basic as Windows laptops get. It has an AMD 3020e, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage, and the title lists it as 'Win10 H'. At $149.99 open box, it is meant for very light use such as web browsing, video calls and online schoolwork.
Is 64GB of eMMC enough for Windows updates?
Space is tight. Windows and its updates take a large share, leaving little room for files, so plan on cloud storage or a USB drive.
- Windows 10 no longer gets standard free security updates, so check your upgrade options before buying.
- With 4GB of RAM, keep only a few browser tabs open at once.
- Confirm the charger is included.
- Check the photos of the touchscreen for scratches.
It's best as a simple backup machine or a child's first laptop for supervised use.
