About this item
The SuperMicro AOC-STGS-i2T is a dual port 10GBase-T network card built around the Intel X550-T2 controller, offered in this open box listing for $59.99. It uses a PCI-E 3.0 interface and runs 10 gigabit Ethernet over copper cabling, a common upgrade for home labs, NAS builds and small office servers.
Will the Intel X550-T2 10GbE card work in my machine?
You need a free PCI-E slot. Check the listing photos for the bracket height, full or low profile, so it fits your case. Also confirm that your operating system supports the X550 controller.
- Two 10GBase-T ports let you link a server to a switch or run two direct connections.
- Plan on Cat6a or better cabling if you want full 10Gb speed over longer runs.
- Open box: look for photos of the actual card and ask whether any spare bracket is included.
- Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
