About this item
For basic schoolwork and web browsing on a tight budget, the HP 14-em0002wm 14-inch HD laptop is listed new at $161.00. The title lists an AMD Athlon 7120 at 2.4GHz, AMD Radeon Graphics, 4GB RAM and a 128GB SSD.
Is the HP 14-em0002wm laptop enough for students?
It's enough for email, online classes, documents and streaming. The 4GB of memory limits multitasking, so keep browser tabs to a minimum.
- Storage: 128GB fills up quickly, so cloud storage or a USB drive will help.
- Screen: it's an HD panel rather than Full HD, which is fine for basic tasks.
- Operating system: none is named in the title, so confirm what's installed.
- Charger: check that it's included with the laptop.
A simple first laptop for kids, a travel spare or a dedicated machine for video calls.
