About this item
Sixty dollars gets you a big screen here: the LG 27GS40W-B UltraGear 27-inch FHD gaming monitor in black, listed open box. Its 1920 x 1080 panel is a good match for budget gaming PCs, consoles and office work.
Is a 27-inch 1080p gaming monitor sharp enough?
At 27 inches, 1080p looks softer up close than 1440p, especially with small text. For games, video and casual use at a normal viewing distance, most people find it fine, and the lower resolution is easier on budget graphics cards.
- The title doesn't list the refresh rate or panel type, so check the listing.
- Because it's open box, ask about scratches, missing parts or dead pixels.
- Confirm the stand and power cable are included.
- Check that the inputs match your PC or console.
