About this item
Purple Heart comes first in the title of this Purple Heart Air Force Vietnam magnetic sign, so the medal is the focus. It's a way to recognize wounds earned in service. The sign measures 6 inches long by 3.75 inches high, is listed for outdoor use and is new at $6, so buying a few for family cars won't strain the budget.
How do I keep an outdoor car magnet from fading or slipping?
The listing doesn't mention a UV coating, so a little care helps.
- Put it on a clean, wax-free steel panel and press the edges flat.
- Take it off before automatic car washes.
- Store it flat, not rolled, when you're not using it.
- Compare the photos with the similar Air Force Vietnam Purple Heart sign to pick the layout you like better.
