About this item
Collectors hunting for a Focus FK-2001 vintage mechanical keyboard will find this one listed as new open box for $499.99. At that price it is aimed at retro computing fans and keyboard collectors more than everyday office buyers.
Will a vintage Focus FK-2001 work with a modern PC?
That depends on the connector, which the title does not mention. Older keyboards can use plugs that current computers lack, so you may need an adapter or converter.
- Check the photos for the cable and plug type.
- Ask the seller whether it has been tested, and how.
- Look for yellowing, missing keycaps or box damage, since a new open box item can still show its age.
- Confirm the layout and any extra keys shown in the images.
The eBay Money Back Guarantee applies. Still, read the listing slowly before buying a piece of computing history.
