About this item
CAD designers, 3D artists and engineers shopping for a Dell Precision 7780 mobile workstation will find this one listed new at $3,000. The seller's title lists an i7-1380HX processor, an NVIDIA RTX 3500 GPU, 32GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, a 17-inch display and Windows 11 Pro.
Is the Precision 7780 with RTX 3500 right for CAD and 3D work?
Professional graphics and 32GB of memory point squarely at that kind of workload. Before buying, confirm the exact processor model, since the CPU name in the title looks abbreviated.
- Storage: 512GB is modest for large project files, so budget for external drives.
- Display: resolution isn't listed, so check the description.
- Power adapter: confirm it's included in the box.
- Sealed box: ask whether new means factory sealed.
A $3,000 purchase deserves careful checks, and it's covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
