About this item
The MSI Codex R with an RTX 5060 pairs a newer-generation graphics card with an Intel Core i5-10400F at 2.90GHz, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. This mix suits gamers who care most about GPU power and want room for a big game library. The unit is listed as open box.
Will the i5-10400F hold back the RTX 5060?
In some CPU-heavy games at 1080p, an older i5 can limit frame rates. At higher resolutions or settings, the graphics card carries more of the load. The F-series chip has no integrated graphics, so your monitor connects to the GPU.
- Verify the GPU: ask for a screenshot showing the RTX 5060 in system info.
- Open box: confirm all cables and accessories are included.
- Upgrades: ask for the power supply wattage.
- Storage: the 1TB SSD holds several large titles.
