About this item
Building or repairing a keyboard? This lot of 68 Cherry MX Speed Silver key switches is sold as open box for $32.93. That's enough to replace many switches in a mechanical gaming keyboard or to keep a supply of spares.
How many Cherry MX Speed Silver switches do I need for my keyboard?
Count the keys on your keyboard first. Sixty-eight may cover a compact layout, but a larger keyboard will need more. Plan to buy a second lot if you're replacing every switch.
- Mounting: check whether your keyboard is hot-swap or needs soldering before you buy.
- Pin type: check the photos or ask whether these are 3-pin or 5-pin, and match them to your PCB.
- Open box: ask whether the switches are unused or were pulled from another keyboard, and whether any were modified.
- Exact count: confirm that all 68 are included.
If the lot isn't as described, you're covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
