About this item
Looking for an ASUS PL64-B Core i7 media player to drive a signage wall or a quiet multi-screen desk? This open-box unit is listed with a Core i7 processor and triple-output display support. It ships without RAM or an SSD, so the $499.99 price covers the chassis and platform only.
What do I need to add to an ASUS PL64-B media player without RAM or SSD?
At minimum you need a memory kit, a boot drive and an operating system. The listing should tell you which memory and drive types it accepts.
- Memory type: confirm the supported RAM format and maximum capacity before buying modules.
- Storage slot: check whether it takes M.2 NVMe, SATA or both.
- Power adapter: look for a power brick in the photos.
- Open-box contents: note any missing mounts, antennas or cables.
It is a good fit for digital signage installers and IT buyers who already keep spare parts on hand.
