About this item
Few desktops reach this tier: a new Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 gaming PC pairing an NVIDIA RTX 5090 with 256GB of DDR5 RAM, a 4TB SSD and WiFi 7, listed at $7,999.99. It's a workstation-class build as much as a gaming rig.
Who actually needs a 9950X3D2 gaming PC with 256GB of RAM?
Gamers chasing 4K at high frame rates will lean on the GPU, but the 256GB of memory is aimed at AI model work, 8K video editing, large simulations and heavy 3D rendering. If you only game, a smaller memory configuration could save a lot.
- Builder details: look for the seller's notes on motherboard, power supply and cooling, since none are in the title.
- Operating system: confirm what's installed and whether it's activated.
- Packaging: a system this valuable needs careful packing, so read the seller's notes on how it's sent.
- Benchmarks: ask for stress test or benchmark screenshots.
