About this item
At $60 and listed as new, the SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini gaming keyboard in a 60% form factor (model 648020) is one of the cheaper ways into the Apex Pro line. A 60% board drops the number pad, function row and dedicated arrows, which keeps it compact enough for small desks and travel bags.
Is the 60% Apex Pro Mini a good budget gaming keyboard?
Yes, if you're comfortable reaching arrows and F-keys through a function layer. Spreadsheet-heavy users may find it limiting.
- Generation: the title doesn't name a generation, so confirm which version this is.
- Wired or wireless: this isn't stated in the title, so check the description.
- Model number: verify 648020 in the photos or on the box.
- Key legends: make sure the layout and language match what you use.
A sensible pick for students and competitive players who want a compact board on a tight budget.
