About this item
The Asus ROG Strix B760-I Gaming WiFi is an LGA 1700 Intel motherboard aimed at gaming builds, and this open box listing is priced at $160. The "I" in the model name usually signals a small form factor, so confirm the board size in the listing against your case.
What should I check on an open box LGA 1700 motherboard?
Socket pins are the biggest risk with any returned board, so photos and seller notes matter more than the box art.
- Socket: ask for a close photo of the LGA 1700 pins to spot any bent ones.
- Accessories: confirm the Wi-Fi antenna, cables and other bundled items are included.
- CPU support: check that your Intel processor works with the board and whether a BIOS update is needed.
- Memory: verify the supported RAM type in the specs before buying memory.
