About this item
If you're modding a slim board, Gateron KS-33 low profile silent switches in Brown are a popular choice for quieter typing. This open box pack holds 110 Silent 2.0 switches for $35, which suits keyboard hobbyists building or refreshing a low-profile layout.
Will Gateron KS-33 switches fit my keyboard?
Low-profile switches don't fit standard MX-size sockets. Before you order, make sure your board supports the KS-33 footprint and is hot-swappable.
- Count: open box packs can come up short, so ask the seller to confirm all 110 switches are there.
- Keycaps: low-profile switches need matching low-profile keycaps.
- Feel: Brown switches are generally tactile, and the Silent version is designed to cut noise.
- Condition: ask whether any switches have been installed before.
