About this item
Forty-one dollars buys this Intel NUC kit DC3217IYE, a small mini PC built around the Core i3-3217U. It's open box and listed under the retail code BOXDC3217IYE. Because it's a kit, check carefully which parts are included.
Can an old i3 NUC still be useful?
Yes, for lightweight jobs like a basic home server, a kiosk display or a machine for learning Linux. Don't expect it to handle modern games or heavy multitasking.
- RAM and storage: NUC kits often come without them, so confirm what's installed.
- Power adapter: check that it's included.
- Condition: review the photos of the open-box unit and its ports.
- OS: see whether an operating system is installed.
