About this item
The Panasonic Toughbook FZ55 MK3 is a rugged laptop that field technicians, utility crews and first responders use when a regular laptop won't survive. The seller calls this unit new in box, but eBay lists it as open box. It costs $1,899.00. Specs include an i5-1345U, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, WiFi, a DVD drive and a touchscreen.
Why does the Toughbook FZ55 still include a DVD drive?
Many organizations still install software, run diagnostics or load records from discs. A built-in DVD drive means you don't have to carry an external one.
- Check the listing for any rugged rating or certification. Don't assume one.
- Check how many batteries come with it and that the charger is included.
- Ask the seller why it's listed as open box.
- Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
