About this item
This new HP Z2 G5 SFF desktop is a good fit for small offices. It's listed at $629.99 with an 8-core Intel Core i7-10700, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It runs Windows 10 Pro and can be upgraded to Windows 11 Pro.
Is the HP Z2 G5 SFF good for office and light creative work?
Eight cores are plenty for spreadsheets, accounting software, coding and photo editing. The small form factor (SFF) case saves desk space, but it doesn't fit full-size graphics cards.
- Windows: Windows 10 no longer gets free security updates, so plan to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro right away.
- Storage type: the title says 512GB but not whether it's an SSD or a hard drive. Check the listing.
- Graphics: none is listed, so check what powers your monitors.
- Extras: ask whether a keyboard, mouse or monitor is included.
