About this item
Priced at $3,199.99 new, this Ryzen 9 9950X3D PC with an RTX 5090 pairs the same top-end processor and graphics card as more expensive builds with 32GB of DDR5 instead of 64GB. It also has a 4TB Gen4 SSD. It's aimed at creators, AI hobbyists and high-end gamers.
Is 32GB enough for an RTX 5090 AI and editing PC?
For 4K editing, gaming, streaming and many AI experiments, 32GB works well. Large 8K projects or big local models can use more, so check whether the motherboard has free slots for a later upgrade.
- RAM layout: ask whether it's two sticks or four, since that affects upgrades.
- Power supply: confirm the wattage is right for the RTX 5090.
- Cooling: check the CPU cooler type in the listing.
- Operating system: make sure it's installed and activated.
The savings could go toward more RAM later. This purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
