About this item
Two M.2 drives, one slot. The Supermicro AOC-SLG4-2H8M2 is a hybrid Gen 4 NVMe/SATA M.2 RAID adapter that holds two drives, and the listing includes both brackets. It's sold as open box for $180.
Is this M.2 NVMe RAID card a fit for my server or workstation?
It suits homelab builders, small servers and workstations that need a RAID setup for boot or data drives without using the motherboard's M.2 slots. Check the details below before you plan your build around it.
- Slot and lanes: the title doesn't give the interface, so check the slot type and size your board needs.
- Drive lengths: check which M.2 sizes fit before buying SSDs.
- Open box: look in the photos for missing screws or bent brackets.
- Drivers and OS: make sure the RAID setup works with your operating system.
