About this item
The G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 64GB DDR5 6000 kit gives an AMD build two 32GB sticks rated at 6000MT/s with CL30 timings and an AMD EXPO profile. 64GB leaves plenty of room for video editing, large photo libraries, virtual machines, and gaming with lots of apps open. This kit is listed as open box.
Is the Trident Z5 Neo 64GB DDR5 6000 kit worth it?
It makes sense for creators and power users who already fill 32GB. Most gaming-only builds will not need this much memory. At $749, compare it with other listings before you commit.
- Compatibility: confirm your motherboard takes DDR5 and check its memory support list.
- EXPO: you need to enable the profile in BIOS to run the rated speed.
- Open box: ask whether both sticks were tested and whether the packaging is complete.
- Clearance: make sure your CPU cooler leaves room for the heatspreaders.
