About this item
The G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal Neo 32GB DDR5-6000 CL28 kit has two 16GB sticks with fast speed and tight timings. Enthusiast gaming and creator builds look for that combination. This open box kit is listed at $465.
Is DDR5-6000 CL28 RAM worth it for a gaming PC?
CL28 at DDR5-6000 is a high-end spec. How much faster it makes your PC depends on your CPU and motherboard, so check your motherboard's supported memory list before buying.
- Compatibility: this is DDR5, so it won't fit a DDR4 motherboard.
- Open box: check that both sticks are included and look for marks on the heat spreaders.
- Memory profiles: to run at the rated speed you usually need to turn on a memory profile in the BIOS. Check the listing for which profiles it supports.
- Price check: compare it with new kits before you buy.
