What should you confirm before buying this PCIe 4.0 x16 expansion card?
This is a specialist part, so compatibility details matter more than price.
- Motherboard slot: make sure you have a free x16 slot, and ask what the X8X8 note means for bifurcation settings.
- Baseplates: check what the six baseplates accept, such as drives or adapter boards.
- Cable length: measure your chassis against the cable specs in the listing.
- Power: look for any auxiliary power connectors the card or baseplates require.
