About this item
When the lid of a Dell Inspiron 15 5584 cracks or the hinges loosen, this LCD back cover lid with bezel and hinges replaces the outer screen housing in one go. It is listed new as part 0GYCJR for the P85F model, at $336.89, and suits DIY repairers and students keeping an older laptop going.
Does this Inspiron 15 5584 lid replacement fit my laptop?
Match the model on the bottom of your laptop to 5584 and the regulatory code P85F. If your original lid carries part 0GYCJR, that is a strong sign of a fit.
- The screen panel itself is not named in the title, so expect to transfer your existing display.
- Ask whether hinge screws and the webcam or antenna cables are included.
- Check that the color and finish match your base.
- At $336.89, compare against a repair shop quote or a used laptop.
