What should I ask before buying an $8,000 gaming PC?
At this price, the parts the title doesn't mention matter as much as the headline specs.
- Power and cooling: ask for the power supply wattage and the type of CPU cooler.
- Motherboard and case: get the model names so you know how much room there is for upgrades.
- Software: confirm whether Windows is included and activated.
- Price check: builds with a 9950X3D and RTX 5090 vary widely in price, so compare several listings.
