About this item
The Sigma Metalytics SM1601 precious metal verifier is a tool for people who handle precious metals. It is not a computer, even though this listing sits in a desktop category. It's listed new with 3 wands for $1,179.99.
Who needs a precious metal verifier like the SM1601?
It's aimed at coin dealers, pawn shops, bullion stackers and estate buyers who want a second check before money changes hands. The listing title calls it new and original, so review the photos and description to judge that yourself.
- Ask which 3 wands are included and what each one is meant for.
- Look for any power supply, cables or manual in the photos.
- Confirm the SM1601 model number on the unit itself.
- Review the seller's feedback history, which matters more on a higher-priced tool.
