About this item
CAD drafters and 3D designers short on desk space often look for an HP Z2 Mini G9 with RTX A2000, and this open-box unit is well equipped: Intel Core i9-14900, NVIDIA RTX A2000 12GB, 64GB of DDR5 and a 1TB SSD for $2,200. The professional-grade GPU makes it a candidate for CAD, BIM and GPU-accelerated rendering work.
What can a Z2 Mini G9 workstation with 64GB RAM handle?
Multi-monitor drafting, large assemblies and mid-size renders are realistic targets. For the heaviest simulations, a full-size tower with a bigger GPU may serve you better.
- Confirm the power supply or adapter is included.
- Ask which operating system is installed and whether it is activated.
- Check the rear-port layout against the number of monitors you plan to use.
- Review open-box notes and photos for any wear on the chassis.
