About this item
The HP EliteDesk 8 with AMD Ryzen AI 5 PRO 340 is built for business desks, and this open-box unit brings 32GB of DDR5 memory, a 512GB SSD and Radeon 840M integrated graphics for $850. That memory headroom keeps dozens of browser tabs, Teams calls and large spreadsheets running side by side without slowing to a crawl.
Can an EliteDesk 8 Ryzen AI business PC handle photo editing?
Light photo editing and 1080p video trims are reasonable on Radeon 840M graphics; for 3D rendering or serious gaming, look for a dedicated GPU instead.
- Check whether the form factor is mini, SFF or tower, since the title does not say.
- Confirm a power adapter or cord is included.
- Ask which operating system is installed and whether it is activated.
- Note how many video outputs it has if you run dual monitors.
