Is a Ryzen 9 9950X3D RTX 5090 PC overkill for gaming alone?
For gaming only, yes, in most cases. The 256GB of memory mainly benefits large datasets, VMs and heavy creative projects.
- Missing details: ask for the motherboard, PSU wattage, cooler and case.
- Drives: confirm the type and number of SSDs that make up the 4TB.
- OS: check whether Windows or Linux is installed and licensed.
- Packaging: large builds travel better with internal foam, so ask how it's packed.
