Is an RTX 5090 AI workstation worth it for your work?
It makes the most sense if you run local AI models, 3D renders, high-resolution video edits or simulations, where a top-tier GPU and lots of CPU cores make a real difference. For gaming alone, it's usually more machine than you need.
- Power supply: confirm the PSU wattage and brand, since the RTX 5090 draws a lot of power.
- Cooling: check which CPU cooler is used and how the case handles airflow.
- Storage plan: 2TB fills up fast with footage and datasets, so look for spare drive bays.
- OS: check which Windows version, if any, is installed.
