About this item
At $36 new, this Acer 21.5 inch Full HD monitor is one of the cheapest ways to add a screen to your desk. It runs at 1920 x 1080 with a 100Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync, so scrolling and light gaming look smoother than on a basic 60Hz panel.
Is a 21.5-inch 1080p monitor enough for office work or school?
For spreadsheets, email, online classes and web browsing, yes. At this size, 1080p looks sharp, and the screen fits well on small desks or as a second monitor next to a laptop.
- Ports: the title doesn't list inputs, so check the listing for HDMI or VGA before you buy.
- Cables: see whether a video cable comes with the monitor.
- Stand: look at the photos to see whether it tilts or mounts on a wall.
- Multi-screen setups: at this price, a matching pair for dual monitors stays affordable.
