About this item
The LG UltraGear 27G411A-B is a 27-inch Full HD IPS gaming monitor with a 144Hz overclock, and this open-box listing asks just $97. It's a good match for esports games and budget gaming PCs. It also works for students who want one screen for schoolwork during the day and games at night.
Is a 27-inch 1080p 144Hz monitor good for gaming?
144Hz makes motion smoother in fast shooters, and Full HD is easy for mid-range graphics cards to run. At 27 inches, text looks a little softer than on a 1440p screen.
- Overclock: 144Hz is listed as an overclock, so check that your graphics card and cable support it.
- Open box: look for notes about marks on the screen or dead pixels.
- Accessories: make sure the stand and cables are included.
- Region: the title includes AUS, so ask the seller what that means for the power cable that comes with it.
