About this item
At $53.00, this open-box Onn 24-inch 165Hz gaming monitor (model 100027813) is an affordable way to move up from a 60Hz screen. It runs 1080p FHD with a 1ms response time and FreeSync, a solid mix for esports titles, budget gaming PCs and students who game between classes.
Getting full speed from the Onn 24-inch 165Hz gaming monitor: what do I need?
Your graphics card has to output 165Hz, and the cable and port must support that refresh rate. Set it manually in your display settings.
- The title mentions something 6ft is included; check the listing to see if that is a cable and which type.
- Ask whether the stand and power supply are in the open box.
- Look for notes on dead pixels or panel scratches.
- FreeSync works with compatible graphics cards to reduce screen tearing.
A low-risk upgrade for a first gaming setup.
