About this item
A USB foot pedal switch with three pedals gives you extra controls under the desk for gaming, video playback or shortcuts you use often. This mechanical foot control is listed new at $39.99. It connects by USB as an HID device.
What can a 3-pedal USB foot control do?
Once set up, each pedal can act as a key or shortcut, which leaves your hands free for the mouse and keyboard. It's useful for pausing and rewinding audio while transcribing, push-to-talk in games and media controls.
- Programming: check the listing to see how pedals are assigned and which operating systems are supported.
- HID: HID devices often work without special drivers, but check the description to be sure.
- Cable length: the title doesn't give it, so make sure it will reach your PC.
- Build: look at the photos for pedal spacing and base size.
